What 200 Branded Golf Balls Actually Cost

21 August 2026

"Roughly what would 200 balls with our logo come to?" is the most common question we get from golf-day organisers, and the most common answer online is "contact us for a quote." So here are the actual numbers.

Two things to know before the table:

The numbers, at list price

Ball Per dozen + print Per ball 17 dozen (204 balls)
TaylorMade Distance Plus $26.99 $41.99 $3.50 $713.83
Callaway Warbird $30.99 $45.99 $3.83 $781.83
Callaway Supersoft $39.99 $54.99 $4.58 $934.83
Srixon AD333 $46.95 $61.95 $5.16 $1,053.15
Titleist Tour Soft $57.95 $72.95 $6.08 $1,240.15
Titleist Pro V1 $87.95 $102.95 $8.58 $1,750.15

So the honest range for 200 branded balls is roughly $700 to $1,750, and the entire spread is the ball you pick — not the printing.

Prices are as shown on our product pages at the time of writing; check the product page for the current figure.

The printing is a flat line, not a percentage

This is the part that surprises people who've bought promotional merchandise before. Because the $15 per dozen doesn't move, its share of what you pay collapses as the ball gets better:

Two practical consequences:

Upgrading the ball is cheaper than it looks. Going from a Warbird to a Supersoft across 204 balls costs $153 — about 75c a ball — and the recipient notices. Going from Supersoft to Tour Soft is another $305.

Full colour is free, so use it. A six-colour crest with a photographic gradient costs exactly the same $15 per dozen as a single-colour name. If you've been simplifying your logo down to one colour out of habit from screen-printed merchandise, you're leaving that on the table. (What does need thought at this size is fine detail — see what a club crest looks like at 22 mm.)

And there's no volume cliff. Because nothing is amortised over a setup charge, a single dozen costs the same per ball as seventeen dozen at list price. That matters if you're not sure of numbers yet: you can order a dozen first to see the print in hand, and it doesn't penalise you.

What's not in the table

How it compares as event spend

Against the rest of a golf day budget, 204 balls at $3.83 is around $780 — comparable to a couple of hole sponsorships, and it's the item every player takes home and keeps using. There's also a tax angle that runs the opposite way to the hospitality spend: branded merchandise you hand out is generally treated as promotion and deductible, while the green fees and catering generally aren't. Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to put a logo on 200 golf balls?

At list price, a 200-ball order (17 dozen) runs from about $714 on a value ball like the TaylorMade Distance Plus to about $1,750 on a Titleist Pro V1 — roughly $3.50 to $8.58 a ball, personalisation included. Volume pricing is available on request for orders this size and above.

Is there a setup fee for logo golf balls?

No. There are no setup fees, screen fees, artwork fees or per-colour charges. Personalisation is a flat $15 per dozen on top of the ball price, whether your logo is one colour or a full-colour photograph.

Do I get a discount on 200 golf balls?

The figures in this article are list price, which is what you'd pay ordering online without asking. For orders at this volume we quote trade pricing on request — get in touch about bulk and wholesale orders with your quantity and event date.

How long does an order of 200 golf balls take?

200 balls is 17 dozen, which sits inside our 1–20 dozen band: usually 3–5 business days in production, plus Australia Post delivery time. Over 20 dozen takes 5 or more business days. See shipping and turnaround.

Do I have to order in dozens?

Yes — balls are sold and printed by the dozen, so 200 balls rounds up to 17 dozen (204 balls). There's no minimum order, so you can just as easily order one dozen.

Are branded golf balls a tax deduction?

Golf balls printed with your business logo and given to clients, staff or event attendees are generally deductible as advertising and promotion. See our guide to whether custom golf balls are tax deductible in Australia.
