Why personalise the TaylorMade TP5?
The TP5 is the most layered ball in our range — five pieces, built around a Tri-Fast Core and a Dual-Spin cast urethane Cover, engineered so the ball reacts differently to a driver than to a wedge. Personalising one puts your logo, photo or message on a genuine tour ball with a real technical story behind it.
That story matters when the ball is a gift. A personalised TP5 isn't a generic printed dozen — it's a specific, complete-performance tour ball with someone's name on it.
How the TP5 plays
Mid compression with a mid feel, priorities on control and distance together. It suits low and mid handicappers. The five-layer construction is the point: the inner layers handle speed off the tee while the soft cast urethane cover handles spin around the green, which is what "complete performance" is describing.
Printing on the TP5
Cast urethane holds a full-colour UV print cleanly over roughly 22mm on one side. On white you get the widest colour gamut we print — photographs, skin tones, gradients and detailed multi-colour crests all reproduce faithfully. On yellow, keep artwork bold and high-contrast. Multi-colour logos carry no surcharge, and we send a free digital proof before printing.
Who orders personalised TP5s
- Premium gifts — a full tour ball with a photo, name or date. See our best personalised golf gifts guide.
- Clubs — crested dozens for competitive fields.
- Corporate VIP gifts — your logo on a ball that low handicappers will happily put in play. See corporate & bulk golf balls.
TP5 vs TP5x vs Tour Response
The TP5x is the firmer, faster, higher-compression version of the same five-layer idea. The Tour Response drops to a 3-piece urethane build at a lower price while keeping genuine greenside spin. The TP5 is the complete-performance middle.

Personalised TaylorMade TP5 Golf Balls — FAQs
What makes the TP5 a 5-piece ball?
It uses five layers — TaylorMade's Tri-Fast Core under a Dual-Spin Cover — so the ball can behave differently off the driver than it does off a wedge.
TP5 or TP5x — which should I personalise?
The TP5 has a mid feel at mid compression and suits low and mid handicappers. The TP5x is firmer and higher-compression, built for players chasing more ball speed and distance.
Does personalising the TP5 affect its spin?
No. The UV print sits on the surface of the cast urethane cover and doesn't change the five-layer construction or how the ball performs.
What colours does the personalised TP5 come in?
White and yellow. White gives the widest colour range for photographs and detailed crests; yellow suits bold logos and high-contrast text.
