About the personalised Titleist Velocity
The Velocity is Titleist's distance ball. A high-speed LSX core in a 2-piece construction produces fast ball speeds and a straight, explosive flight, with a firm feel that tells you when you've caught one. It comes in white plus bright green and orange covers.
How the Velocity plays
Mid compression and a firm feel, tuned for speed rather than spin. The brief is straightforward: high launch, low spin off the driver, and a flight that holds its line. That makes it a forgiving ball for beginners and mid handicappers who lose more shots sideways than they do around the green.
Printing on the Velocity
The ionomer cover takes a durable full-colour UV print over roughly 22mm on one side. The coloured covers are the interesting part — printing onto green or orange shifts how artwork reads, so bold, high-contrast logos and simple text hold up far better than photographs. On white, the full colour range is available and photos reproduce faithfully.
Where the Velocity sits in the Titleist range
The Velocity is the distance specialist, and it's the firmest ball Titleist puts in front of everyday golfers. Alongside it sit the TruFeel, which is the softest ball in the range, and the Tour Soft, which pairs a large core with soft, fast feel. All three use ionomer-family covers rather than the cast urethane of the tour balls, so none of them are built for greenside spin — the difference between them is feel and flight.
