How the Pro V1 plays
Mid compression and a mid feel place the Pro V1 in the middle of Titleist's tour range: softer and lower-spinning off the long clubs than the Pro V1x, firmer and higher-flying than the AVX. The cast urethane cover is what generates greenside spin — a softer, grippier material than the ionomer covers used on distance balls, and the reason the ball checks up on approach shots.
Printing on the Pro V1
Urethane takes a UV print cleanly, and the white cover gives the widest colour gamut of anything we print: photographs, gradients and multi-colour crests all reproduce faithfully. The print area is roughly 22mm on one side, which comfortably holds a club crest, a logo, a short message or a tightly cropped face. On the yellow cover colours read slightly warmer, so high-contrast logos and bold text work best.
